If something you’ve read on The Bone Bulletin has made you want a second opinion on your own situation, this is the place to ask for one.
This is not an emergency service. If you’re dealing with a fresh injury, severe pain, inability to bear weight, or anything that feels urgent, please go to your nearest emergency department or call your local emergency number first. This form is for non-urgent questions, second opinions on an existing diagnosis or treatment plan, and general guidance.
How this works
- Fill in the form below with as much detail as you can — symptoms, how long they’ve lasted, any X-rays/MRI/reports you already have, and what treatment (if any) you’ve been told to follow.
- I personally read every submission — there’s no triage team or assistant filtering these.
- You’ll hear back by email with either a written opinion or a suggestion to schedule a video/phone call, depending on what your situation needs.
- Response times vary with my hospital duty schedule — usually within 2–4 days, sometimes sooner.
What this can and can’t replace
A remote second opinion is genuinely useful for understanding a diagnosis, sanity-checking a suggested surgery, or figuring out whether you need to see someone in person at all. It cannot replace a hands-on physical examination, and I’ll always say so plainly if your situation needs one rather than stretch what’s possible over email or video.
Tell me what’s going on
Note: this form doesn’t support file attachments — if you have X-rays, MRI films, or reports, please mention that in the message above and I’ll reply with an email address to send them to.
